TCC Blackboard Web Portal

For those of you who are not aware of what the TCC Blackboard is, let me put it in simple terms for you. It is a web-based learning management application system founded by Blackboard Inc. Many colleges in the country including the TCC use it to provide online learning and management for their students.

Freshmen using the TCC Blackboard login can manage their college coursework, assignments, take tests, talk to their instructors, and much more. If you think that this method of learning is new, then you are probably from Gen Z, that’s because this has been used since the late 1990s.

Almost all kinds of college activities can be carried out through the TCC Blackboard application. Now you might be wondering, that’s all great, but how can one use this application?  The application is pretty straightforward, but to use it, first have to log in to the TCC Blackboard account.

Most kids who join colleges do not know how to use a computer(which is baffling to hear at this age), so for all those kids, we will help you get into the Blackboard account. The tutorial below will help you with that, so all you have to do is follow those steps without screwing up.

How to Use the TCC Blackboard Login?

TCC Blackboard Web Portal

Here, I’m going to assume that it is the first time you are using this portal, so the instructions will be based on that.

  • First order of business, open the TCC Blackboard portal – https://login.microsoftonline.com/
  • When you are on the page, the portal looks very simple, right? Here, you have to enter the registered email address for my.tccd.edu.
  • After you have entered the email address, click the Next button.
  • On the next page, enter your provided default password for the portal. It will have your date of birth along with a 7-digit student ID next to TCC. So it will look something like this tcc7654321030196. The date of birth should be a 6-digit number.
  • When you hit next/enter/sign-in, you will be logged into your TCC Blackboard account.
  • While the login procedure is done, it is advised that you change your default password to something else for security reasons.
  • The page also has two other sign-in options. You can see the “Sign-in options” at the bottom.
  • When you select that, two options can be seen on the screen. One is to log in using the GitHub ID, and another method requires a security key.

What Should I Do if I Cannot Access My TCC Blackboard Account?

We use so many social media, business, and other accounts for various websites and applications, we tend to forget those account passwords. That’s the reason many people use the same password for all their accounts, while it may not be a secure option, it keeps them from such embarrassing situations.

Regardless of the circumstance and reasons, we are here to help you get your account back up and running. So let’s see what we can do here.

  • On the login page of the TCC Blackboard portal, you can see the “can’t access your account?” option right under the empty email field – https://login.microsoftonline.com/
  • When you click that option, two options are displayed for users to select their type of account.
  • If you choose the “Work or school account” it will take you to a Microsoft online portal.
  • There, you have to fill in two fields, one is the username/email while the other is a security captcha to make sure if you are not a robot trying to take over someone’s account.
  • After that, hit the next button and follow the next instruction to access your account.
  • Now for the other option which is “Personal account”, the recovery requires either your email, phone number, or your Skype credentials.
  • Then you may receive a link to your mail or your phone to reset your password.

Few of us also forget our username. For such people, we have a way to get their accounts back.

  • Go to this www.tccd.edu portal – https://waj.tccd.edu/TCC/WebAdvisor3/getUserid.jsp?wMenu=P
  • There, fill the fields with your Last name, and SSN or you can enter a Colleague ID if you have one. Then hit submit, and you will be further instructed on how to access your forgotten username.
